Kick-off Reception for 50th Anniversary of UGA's Desegregation

To commemorate Jan. 9, 1961 when Hamilton Holmes and Charlayne Hunter-Gault became the first African Americans to register for classes. Reception guests include Hunter-Gault, the family of the late Hamilton Holmes and Mary Frances Early, the first African American to earn a degree when she received her master’s in music education.
